1. Spyro the Dragon
PS1 release: 1998.

2. Ripto’s Rage! (aka Gateway to Glimmer in Europe/Australia)
PS1 release: 1999.
Plot: Spyro 2 the sequel to the charming, family friendly Spyro 1 adventure game. Spyro is the same lovable dragon, but his challenges are now larger and more complex. Help him fly and head-butt his way through incredible new 3D fantasy worlds with more puzzle elements and bonus levels. [Source: Amazon]

3. Year of the Dragon
PS1 release: 2000.
Plot: Jump down the rabbit hole to recover all the eggs stolen from Dragon World by the evil sorceress and her henchmen “Rhynocs”. The cartoonish look, the goofy sounds and the scavenger-hunt gameplay will be familiar to anyone who has adventured with Spyro before. New to the series is the ability to play as Sheila the kangaroo, Sergeant Byrd the flying penguin, Bentley the Yeti, and Agent 9 the space monkey. In Year of the Dragon, Spyro still has all of his signature moves. As well as the special moves he learned in Spyro 2. Control such vehicles as tanks, submarines and speedboats. 4. Season of Ice
Game Boy Advance release: 2001.
Plot: Spyro is trying to relax during a much deserved, uninterrupted vacation in Dragon Shores, receives a message that a careless Rhynoc wizard has captured Zoe and frozen all the fairies throughout the Fairy Realms. Using her last bit of magic, Zoe sends a magic balloon to Spyro for help. Determined to save his friends from the wicked wizard, Spyro teams up with his friends Hunter and Sparx to save Zoe and free as many of the frozen fairies before time runs out. 5. Season of Flame
GBA release: 2002.
Plot: In Season of Flame, all of the Fireflies in the Dragon Realms have been captured. Now Spyro must set off, along with Agent 9 and Sheila the Kangaroo, on an all-new journey to fiery island, where he will rescue the Fireflies and restore flame to the Dragon Realms. [Source: Amazon]

6. Enter the Dragonfly
PS2 release: 2002.
Plot: Enter the Dragonfly sees Ripto return with a plan to steal the dragonflies of the Dragon Realms. To combat his foes, Spyro’s existing set of abilities have been enhanced with new features such as electric, ice, and bubble breath. Equipped with newly acquired skills, amazing new vehicles, and help from new and old friends, Spyro must find a way to return the dragonflies and restore order to the Dragon Realm. [Source: Amazon]

8. Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy (aka Spyro Fusion in Europe/Australia)

Plot: Two game worlds merge as Spyro and Crash team up to battle their worst enemies, Dr. Neo Cortex and Ripto.
